ASSESS brings together a comprehensive Consortium including world leaders in their fields to take up all these interdisciplinary aspects with the goal of fostering and advancing smart composites for full-scale aerospace and wind energy applications. The ASSESS Consortium embracing major academic and industrial players in this field will train a new generation of doctoral candidates (DCs), which will play a key role for future deployment of the envisaged technology.
